Internal Account Manager

Barton Jones Packaging is looking to recruit an Internal Account Manager

The Role

Uphold the strong customer service values

Process quotations and orders while liaising with the delivery team

Maintain existing customer accounts and look for new opportunities within them via structured telephone calling

Prospect new customers with external Sales Manager

Continually expand product knowledge

Become conversant with Company ERP system

Liaise with suppliers and build working relationships to build sales opportunities

Maintain customer records and report preparation


Ideally with at least 2 years’ Sales Office Administration experience. A Friendly but Professional telephone manner is essential. Product training will be given but due to the diversity of the product mix learning on the job is very much part of the process. Time management is key to ensuring current customers are serviced and time is allowed for prospecting. Most importantly a Team Player with a positive can do attitude.


Salary in the region of £16-£22k depending on experience.
