Quantity Surveyor ? Iconic Mixed Use Scheme - Westminster

Worldwide renowned major projects contractor specialising in prestigious and complicated inner-city schemes require a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team for a £90m mixed-use scheme in Central London.

With an international private developer as client, this will be the latest phase of the redevelopment in the Charing Cross Area. The brief is to undertake the cut and carve refurbishment of two listed building, coupled with the new build of two state of the art office blocks, which is due to begin in May and complete in late 2018. The four buildings will comprise a high-end boutique hotel, commercial offices, retail space, an exhibition gallery and a 1,000 seater concert venue.

The ideal Project Quantity Surveyor will either be an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to take a step up or an Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor interested in expanding their scope of projects. The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a strong background of commercial management with a main contractor completing projects within either the Education, Leisure, Commercial, Residential, Hotel or Student Accommodation sectors. Previous project involvement will require the successful commercial management of multiple packages with a combined value of upwards of £5m.

Amongst the Quantity Surveyors' duties will be the responsibility to:

- Monitor and manage the scope, notices, terms and conditions of the Sub Contracts
- Monitor and manage the contract procedures, payments, variations together with contract entitlements
- Monitor and manage the process for Value Generation and Recovery ensuring that profit on budget is maximised.
- Manage the monthly valuations and payments.
- Manage and report the endlife forecasting
- Monitor and manage the contract procedures, payments, variations together with contract entitlements
