Maintenance Scheduler, 6M fixed-term contract, Manchester, potential to go permanent. £23K pro-rata.
Your new company
You will work in the Manchester office for a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. This organisation are responsible for a vast portfolio of properties across the North West, and pride themselves on excellent customer service while working to very tight SLAs.
Your new role
You will ultimately be responsible for efficiently managing and scheduling the organisation's many mobile technicians, ensuring that each is booked with work in sensible, manageable locations around their specific areas. You will take and log service request calls from clients, manage supporting administrative tasks, and coordinate reactive maintenance services.
You will need to effectively prioritise and will work to escalate more serious issues in a timely manner, rescheduling engineers where appropriate to ensure adherence to company time-frames and SLAs. You will also be responsible for scheduling in planned maintenance activities, generating planned PPM and Statutory maintenance schedules.
You will ensure that all supporting administration such as processing billing, producing reports and participating in monthly review meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
Your excellent organisational and prioritisation skills will be essential to this vacancy as you will effectively juggle and manage the diaries of a number of mobile technicians. You will take responsibility for planning in logical routes and visit times, while also remaining flexible and available to alter plans and arrangements in response to client demand.
You will need to be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, dealing with demanding clients and delivering an excellent service. You will need great customer service skills and will be able to negotiate with clients and engineers alike to ensure that issues are rectified in a timely manner.
