“Being a Product Marketing Manager at Redgate is a challenging and enjoyable role with the opportunity to fully own the marketing strategy for your product, from creating the strategy and plans through to delivering the tactical activities you decide will best meet your objectives. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the marketing, sales and engineering teams so you’ll need to have great communication skills and a collaborative approach. You’ll also need to be commercially aware and capable of taking complex technical information and turning it into compelling value propositions.” Kate Duggan, Interim Marketing Manager (Product Marketing)

Redgate is hunting for a Product Marketing Manager to look after one of our product groups.

You’ll be responsible for every aspect of marketing your products, from market and competitor research, to analysing marketing data, to developing a marketing strategy and executing the activities in support of your strategy.

You’ll have a lot of freedom in this senior marketing role as you’ll have to identify where to spend your time and marketing efforts, based on the insights you feed into the company from your analysis and research.

For example, should we focus on driving more people into the top of the funnel? What’s your customer profile? What are your best channels and messages for reaching them? Or should we focus on conversion and retention?

It’ll be up to you to set the direction for your area, put in place a targeted set of marketing activities to address the opportunities you identify, and to deliver against your targets.

At the tactical end, you’ll be involved in writing and promoting content like whitepapers, blog posts, and case studies. You’ll work with influencers to spread your messages and collaborate with others in marketing to secure PR placements. You’ll run webinars and work with our outbound marketing team on media placements and search campaigns.

Equally, you’ll work closely with development teams to influence product direction early on, feeding your marketing findings into the product strategy and taking new products to market.

To apply, simply upload your CV and covering letter or get in touch if you’d like to talk to us first.
