Your new company
Our client are a leading Architectural Practice based in South Belfast who have been established for over 30 years. They have retained the services of Hays and are currently looking for a Qualified Architect with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
They have a wealth of experience in large scale Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Residential development projects and have a reputation for delivering highly innovative design solutions.
Your new role
This is a permanent position based in their central Belfast office where you will join a team of experienced designers, architects and technologists. You will act as an Architect for private sector clients on large commercial, office, residential and retail projects.
You will develop specifications and perform material, product selection and research. You will work with a team of Technicians and Senior Architects to provide conceptual input on assigned projects and demonstrate the ability of making managerial and technical decisions. Regular site visits to check on progress are required to ensure that projects are running on time and to budget. You will need to be prepared to present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client.
What you'll need to succeed
An ARB or RIBA registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in an architect's office with the ability to carry out the full range of professional services of a qualified Architect. You will have a working knowledge of NI Building Regulations and Principal Designer Regulations and have the ability to advise and mentor junior staff while collaborate with external design teams.
You will have creative design skills, strong presentation ability and be highly proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUP and Photoshop.

The successful person will be offered a competitive salary ranging from £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience plus additional company benefits.
