SF Group are currently working on behalf of a well established client based in the South Manchester are who are looking for a Scheduling Assistant to plan and organise the schedules of a busy engineering team.

You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient process from initial customer enquiry through to the despatch of the engineer, whilst delivering industry leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times. To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator with an excellent telephone manner and an ability to work independently.

The role will entail managing the activities and schedules of Engineers who are out for planned maintenance and also emergency call outs. It is a fun, fast paced and rewarding environment with no two days the same.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage incoming requests for planned maintenance and reactive callouts using an in-house database and customer web portals
  • Take ownership of requests, being pro-active when communicating with clients, suppliers and internal account managers
  • Follow-up with suppliers on parts ordered and communicate updates to existing customers
  • Liaising with Operations Manager to organise and plan engineer work schedules, based on their skillset, location and competency

Requirements:

  • IT competence - experience with Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to maintain our high standards for delivery, quality & accuracy
  • Reliable and adaptable, with a flexible approach to work and able to work under pressure
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent & able to problem solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload

Training will be provided where necessary.
A background in Facilities Management is desirable, but not essential.
