Description

The Compliance Surveillance Analyst will be a member of the global compliance team based here in London, and will focus on monitoring the firm's trading and order activity. Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor trading and order activity using real time alerts and suite of reports and tools; follow up on any alerts and document appropriately
  • Continuously calibrate and manage the quality of surveillance reports and tools; identify and implement enhancements and improvements to report logic
  • Keep abreast of current market structure, exchange rules and market abuse regulations, in order to enhance surveillance tool set accordingly
  • Prepare and deliver educational programs and training's tailored appropriately for staff
  • Update surveillance documentation and procedures
  • Assist with audits and inquiries by analysing and replaying trade and order activity

Profile

The successful candidate for the Compliance Surveillance Analyst role will have/be:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience conducting surveillance at a trading venue/firm, Bank, Brokerage or Regulator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player that enjoys working collaboratively
  • Strong understanding of trading venue market structure
  • Strong product knowledge; futures and equities product knowledge preferred
