About the role

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity to join a team that provides managed services to local authorities and associated public sector bodies. The company exists to provide focus to the challenge of supporting local public sector organisations in continuing to serve their local customers.

ARICS and/or Degree in Quantity Surveying or 3 to 5 years + QS related experienceResponsibilities

  • Managing works orders received from our client
  • Managing, instigating and monitoring contract correspondence
  • Managing Sub-contract orders, applications and payments
  • Managing preparation and submission of payment applications to the client
  • Processing commercial data in Excel and producing fiscal reports
  • Management of tender processes and contract negotiations
The Individual - Training/experience

Formally trained with the necessary experience to allow the successful candidate to demonstrate that they are able to undertake all the tasks required.

  • A driving licence is essential
  • PC Literate with an excellent knowledge of MS applications e.g. Word, Excel
  • Able to communicate and present confidently, clearly and expressively.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Excellent management and organisational skills.
  • Capable of influencing within cross-functional teams.
