Job Description:
Purosearch currently have an excellent opportunity at a GOOD rated Multisite nursing home in the Liverpool area. The position is open to an experienced Residential Care and Nursing Home Managers who are looking to take their next career step with one of the North Wests premier care home providers who offer a superior level of care across the portfolio of care and nursing homes.

The Home:
As Nursing Home Manager you will lead a large Nursing home complex split into 5 units and offering luxurious accommodation to residents. All rooms are single single en-suite and are furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard. In addition your clients have the opportunity to socialise in one of the many day rooms, dining room and lounge area with comfortable seating.

This is a full time Nursing Home manager position working 5 days and 40 hours per week.


Job Requirements:
As the General Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. The General Manager will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home and the GOOD CQC report is communicated to potential residents and referrers.

The Manager will be expected to provide strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. The Manager will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents' care and social needs are met in a person-centred way. The Manager will be expected to develop the home with a strong, existing team, so you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.

As Manager you will engage with Senior Management to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You must also ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including CQC, health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.

Skills/ Qualifications:
The General Manager should have completed NVQ Level 5 and have a track record of previous Registered Manager posts. An active NMC PIn number is desirable but not essential.

Benefits:
The General Manager position offers a generous salary of circa £50,000 - £55,000 negotiable on experience plus a range of employee benefits and a rewarding bonus scheme.
