Healthcare Assistant Job in Canterbury - HCA

We have several flexible job vacancies for experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to work with our clients in the Canterbury area through our local branch based on Station Road East.

Through your promotion of independence, you will encourage and support clients in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives. This could include a range of tasks and activities such as personal care, domestic tasks and general activities that allow that individual to live their life in the way they choose.

It is essential that you are able to work in a kind, compassionate and professional manner, putting the service user at the center of all you do.

In order to be considered for this position you will need to have:-

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course
