You will be joining as a proven people manager from within a coatings or chemical manufacturing environment. You will be used to working client facing within a technical product role and being the expert within your field, supporting and working with customers to resolve technical product problems as well as promoting and up-selling the benefits of our world leading products and technical expertise.

We are the world’s leading paint and specialty coatings manufacturer and we are recruiting a Regional Technical Product Manager to lead our UK Regional Technical Services team within our UK Metal Coatings business to support driving sales alongside our sales representatives and key account managers.
As Technical Services Manager you will lead and manage a team of Technical Representatives and Technical Specialists who are out in the field working with our customers. You will come with direct line management experience within a similar technical role, be commercially astute and have the customer at the forefront of your mind. This will involve demonstrating products, technical problem solving, testing and performing technical scans and audits for designated customers. You will prioritise work and identify ways to optimise processes and align technical activities to ensure industry best standards of customer service. You will monitor the market, collate business intelligence and act as a point of expertise for sales teams providing insight to make sure we continue to meet customer needs. You will also support training activities and help build the capabilities of colleagues.
You will have extensive experience in a technical representative role. Good at communicating, especially with sales teams, you will have a track record of developing a high performing team and possess strong project management skills. You will have a good understanding of H&S and be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
