Who are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. Working across EMEA you will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on operational, financial and regulatory related audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for contributing to the annual audit plan, placing focus on the highest risks in line with our business units/management expectations and concerns. Completing audits in accordance with Computershare’s internal process and protocols and to ensure that the audit output is communicated effectively.

It will be expected that you perform special and ad-hoc projects to professional standards, including internal audit process related projects. Therefore, it is imperative that you perform audit activities in an effective and timely manner, ensuring that quality is upheld.

Having the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships is essential in the role and you must work with a high level of integrity, confidentiality and keep an open-mind and flexible approach. A straightforward and honest method is required to allow you to make decisions and at times difficult ones. Important that you are able to solicit the input from others but also use your initiative to come to sound conclusions alone.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced individual who has experience working within a similar role within a Financial Services environment. It would be ideal if you were educated to degree level and hold either CIA, ACA or ACCA qualification, however we will consider experienced candidates who are looking to obtain the CIA qualification.

Other key skills and experience required for the role include:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to uphold standards and committed to delivering quality
  • Attention to detail and working with a high level of accuracy
  • Focused on development- self and other members of the team.
  • Willing to seek out additional responsibilities, acting on opportunities and generating new ideas
  • Team Player
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook
