Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Fitter
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000
Hours: Permanent Days shift

Nicholas Associates Engineering & Manufacturing is once again working with a long standing client of ours whom are now looking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Fitter. My client is a leading manufacturing business based in Rotherham whom supplies products to the pharmaceutical, food and beverage sectors.

The key duties of this role will be:
- To ensure that job changes are effectively and efficiently complete within the agreed timescales for inspection and packing machinery and both reactive and planned maintenance is undertaken.
- To provide an effective and efficient Breakdown service and repair of equipment.
- To provide an effective and efficient Preventative Maintenance service, via checks on machinery
- Playing an active role in the continuous improvement management system


Desired skills and qualifications:
- Apprentice trained electrical or mechanical engineer
- Experience in a highly automated environment / FMCG
- Knowledge of fault finding, installation and maintenance within an FMCG environment.
- An understanding of electro-mechanical equipment operations
- You must be familiar with fault finding and fault rectification on PLC controlled manufacturing and packaging machinery.
