Legal Accounts Assistant
A leading Legal firm in Leeds city centre are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Accounts Clerk to join their friendly department. Your role will take responsibility for ensuring client funds are safeguarded and passed to client as per client SLA’s and ensuring all aspects of SRA Rules are followed.
Reporting to the team leader you will take responsibility for:
Daily billing of client funds with strict adherence to client terms and deadlines.
Provide accurate data to clients involving large volumes of data.
Bank reconciliation’s ensuring all unreconciled items are investigated and resolved.
Raising refunds to customers.
Reconciling customer accounts.
Daily banking figures for Senior Management
Bank payments to clients/suppliers.
Ensuring strict adherence to both SRA and Accounting rules
Highlighting risks and anomalies in all areas of work.
Any other reasonable tasks
The successful candidate will have strong excel skills and be highly analytical, with excellent attention to detail. Must have strong communication skills and have previous experience working in a similar role.
