Our client, a rapidly growing company based in Wigan, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Wigan office. This is a newly created role due to an upturn in business. You will be working in a friendly and supportive team of 4, reporting to an FD fully committed to progressing you through your studies and your career. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following;

  • Purchase Ledger matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Sales Ledger, raising invoices, Cash allocation
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Petty Cash
  • Processing expenses
  • Purchase/Sales Ledger queries
  • General admin
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Applicants must be actively studying AAT and have previous experience working within an Accounts department. Good IT skills and sound knowledge of Excel are essential. Applicants should have a personable approach and possess good communication skills. There is scope for this role to develop to undertake more month-end duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for junior AAT studiers looking to advance their career with full study support on offer.
