Opportunity for a proven Quality Engineer with high volume lean / Six Sigma manufacturing background to identify and implement Quality Improvement Projects with potential to develop into QA Manager role.

SALARY: up to £40,000

BENEFITS: Pension / Health

LOCATION: Malvern, Worcs

JOB SPECIFICATION - Quality Project Engineer

Working within a lean high volume manufacturing environment, you will report to the QA manager, and take ownership of product quality improvement projects to reduce complaints, ultimately increase and maintain customer satisfaction. This will involve working with the manufacturing team to understand reasons for product non-conformance identify and implement improvement projects and have the energy, resilience and people skills to see these through to completion. It is anticipated you will also hold a key role on the continuous improvements team.

REQUIREMENTS - Quality Project Engineer

- You MUST have a proven track record as a Quality Assurance Engineer working on projects within a high volume manufacturing environment. Any experience of packaging would be advantageous but is not essential.
- You MUST be a strong but diplomatic character to drive projects through to completion.
- You WILL be a qualified mechanical/production/manufacturing engineer.
- Six Sigma qualifications &/or lean manufacturing experience would also be advantageous.
