Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Manager to join a non-profit organisation based in Wolverhampton. We are looking for someone who has a breadth of infrastructure knowledge, who is happy to be fairly proactive and hands-on whilst managing a team.

Responsible for the delivery and management of IT infrastructure for voice and data services throughout the organisation, ensuring that service levels for performance, availability and support are achieved through the internal team or external service providers.

Initially, focus would be on a transformation programme they are looking to undertake, moving into the cloud, which will involve considerable changes to the existing IT infrastructure and service. This will provide an opportunity to contribute to, and lead the infrastructure change programme to support the wider transformation objectives.

You will be responsible for the management of the security and disaster recovery in relation to IT infrastructure, including the documentation, communication and implementation of any related policies and procedures. And will work on development and support on IT Infrastructure connecting remote users and other offices to business systems and IT services.

You will also be involved with the management of the Network perimeter, ensuring the environment is securely protected and patched - reviewing the security policies and documentation to identify any security risks.
