IT and Risk Manager, £35k, Monument

With a team of up to 40 to support, this organisation needs a smart and experienced IT and Risk Manager to provide extensive 1st line IT support, IT project and manage vendor risk assessment requests from clients and internal stakeholders. Working with unique and niche non-for-profit organisation in Central London, this is a great opportunity working with a fantastic and lively team.

What does the role consist of?

This role will be to provide IT support for the company, liaising with the outsourced IT provider. You will manage all IT-related projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as well as own and manage the vendor risk assessment requests from clients and internal stakeholders.

- You will provide an effective and timely IT support service to employees, dealing with Level 1 support issues
- Completing IT administration processes for joiners and leavers
- Managing the day to day relationship with the outsourced IT provider and mobile phone provider, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements
- Updating and enhancing the website
- Project management of the IT book of work
- Managing all vendor risk assessment requests
- Owning and updating the internal Risk Process Manual, summarising it for clients and proactively providing options and recommendations for improving it
- Scheduling and carrying out monitoring checks to comply with client requirements

What will the successful candidate be like?

- Experience of providing Level 1 IT support across the whole spectrum of IT, ideally within a small company
- Experience of managing and delivering IT projects to meet business requirements
- Experience of developing and implementing IT risk management processes and policies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into layperson language for business stakeholders and clients
- A proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks to reduce the workload of senior stakeholders
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
- Ability to use initiative to solve problems, whilst continuing to keep managers informed and updated
- A positive "can do" attitude and flexible approach to taking on additional tasks if required
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines for different stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously but involve others or request help where required
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), internet and email, and ideally experience of Salesforce
