Lead Generator / Sales Support
To generate relevant and reliable leads for International Trade Advisors (ITAs) by lead generation list building and initial contacts
To build effective customer relationships, ensuring proactive and on-going client engagement, optimising the awareness and take up of Department for International Trade (DIT) services amongst clients
Proactively develop a list of potential clients for lead generation.
Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and following up to generate new leads for ITA’s
Engage with new clients / non exporters to promote contract services.
To respond to client enquiries in an appropriate and timely manner, providing first level information and advice (via telephone/email) to clients, including direct referral to an ITA or relevant service provider as appropriate.
Register companies and update records on CDMS (basic company details, markets of interest and sector) for all clients
Coordinate leads from national awareness raising projects
Analyse leads received to ensure they are relevant.
Coordinate and follow up on referrals from intermediaries
A good standard of education preferably within a business discipline, together with a minimum of 2 years previous experience within an administration/customer services environment.
Institute of Export qualified (desirable)

Highly self motivated and target driven
Excellent written and verbalcommunication and interpersonal skills
Ability to form effective relationships
Excellent IT and integrated business technology skills, particularly Microsoft Office and use of CRM
An understanding of international trade within the regional network
