Sussex Recruitment are seeking a full time Head Chef. Our client is a family run freehouse who maintain an excellent reputation as a food destination pub. They are looking for a qualified, passionate and dedicated Head Chef with proven experience of fresh food cooked to order. Running a menu consisting of pub classics alongside their specials boards, allowing the candidate to demonstrate their creativity.The candidateThe successful candidate will need to feel comfortable with running every aspect of the kitchen; ordering, liaising and negotiating with suppliers, GP’S, record management. Their cleanliness and hygiene standards to a 5 star rating and must possess good personal, professional, organisational and motivational skills to manage a busy kitchen.Hours
Hours are worked on rostered split shifts over five and a half days one week then six days the next, alternate Sunday lunches only and they are closed on Mondays.
