Business Analyst – Based in London

Paying up to £40,000 per annum

My client are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join their Product Strategy department and establish a career in business analysis. You must be a detail-oriented individual and have a proactive attitude with a desire to learn and progress. This is a key role in the business and offers significant potential for career advancement in business analysis and product management.

  • Experience in web-based product delivery and has strong technical skills gained from
  • At least 3 years of solid business analysis experience and extensive knowledge of key business analysis techniques
  • At least 1 year of mentoring junior team members
  • Qualifications in Business Analysis or related subject (ISEB, BCS, etc.)
  • Ability to develop requirement definitions, functional specifications and understand design specifications
  • Working knowledge of agile software development methods and requirements engineering
  • working in a web product environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple assignments simultaneously, working both independently and with other teams in a fast paced environment
  • Confident communication of complex ideas/requirements in a straightforward and clear manner to a variety of audiences and skill sets
  • Impeccable written, verbal, presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of current and emerging technologies
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Ensure on-time delivery of exciting solutions to user needs as part of a team operating across the Product Strategy department and internal/external stakeholders
  • Act as a bridge working closely with development teams and with stakeholders across the business and client base by interpreting and presenting requirements to create effective solutions
  • Investigate system behaviour, identify improvements and work to implement these improvements
  • Translate requirements into effective use cases in line with agile development methodology, own and manage user requirements and specifications throughout the development cycle
  • Demonstrate development output to customers (internal and external), setting expectations and confirming effectiveness of solutions
  • Deliver subject matter expertise to internal departments as a point of escalation for definition of current and desired system behaviour
