This company is an award winning social care provider that has been providing care for people for the last 15 years. Care packages are tailored to individual needs. The group has got 2 sites within East Anglia.

The Mount care home based in Aylsham, Norwich, Norfolk has got a vacancy for a home manager.

They are looking for a dynamic person to lead a team of dedicated carers to provide 24 hours care to 22 residents with mental illness, dementia and old age.


- To take responsibility as the person-in- charge for the day-to- day running of the home.
- To take full professional accountability in respect of the clinical management of the home.
- To promote a caring environment for service users through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of the service users.
- To demonstrate leadership of your staff team and to act as a positive role model ensuring your presence is visible within the community of the home.
- To ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual needs by regular auditing.
- To ensure achievement of Company Standards by the implementation of the policies and procedures

Skills and Experience:

- Registered Managers Award / or working towards Registered Managers Award
- Previous experience at Deputy Manager level or equivalent
- Previous experience of working with assessment and care planning
- Previous experience of managing in a complex organisation
- Experience of Managing Health and Safety
- Previous demonstration of the ability to market successfully
