SGS Berkeley Green UTC is set to provide specialist high quality vocational and academic education for learners with a strong interest in Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Technologies including Cyber Security. We are committed to developing our students into the Engineers and Digital Technologists of tomorrow by working closely with our employer partners to develop an exciting and industry relevant curriculum. We will be opening in September 2017, with entries at year 10 and 12. This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the start and influence the direction of this new school.

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and engaging Head of Engineering and Technology to join our extended Senior Leadership Team. The successful applicant will lead on curriculum developments in Engineering and Product Design and will need to demonstrate:

A passion for their subject and the ability to link learning to the real world;

A proven level of excellence in the classroom at KS4 and KS5;

Proven leadership skills, gained in middle management posts;

Exceptional drive and excellent interpersonal skills;

A willingness to contribute to all aspects of college life.
