Assistant Store Manager, to be based in our new state of the art retail store near Evesham. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will support and be responsible for all operational day to day activities within the Store to ensure that excellent customer service is provided by store personnel at all times. Key Responsibilities will include assisting with the: ? Planning, preparing and drawing up a weekly staffing rota in line with designated Store opening hours allocate work accordingly, monitor and follow-up ? Set standards by leading by example to motivate and stimulate the team to exceed expectations at all times ? Be accountable for reaching Store targets and to set goals and objectives accordingly for team members ? Conduct regular Store team meetings to keep employee relations at a high level and to keep the team fully informed of all relevant updates and promotions ? Communicate and work closely with other departments within the Company in order to maximise sales/marketing opportunities ? Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are followed and adhered to at all times in including compliance with security rules ? Determine and control Store displays and merchandising maintaining a clean, neat, appealing and well merchandised store at all times ? To assist with the interview and recruitment of store team members as and when required, strictly adhering to the recruitment process, induction and staffs ongoing development ? Create effective performance reviews on a periodic basis for all Store team members ? Provide solutions where possible to customer issues/complaints working to achieve a successful result working in line with the Company’s returns/complaints procedure ? Provide the Head of Retail Operations with period sales or other information as and when requested and to complete daily, weekly and monthly reports in agreed timeframe ? Attend periodic Store operation meetings and other meetings that you are requested to attend by upper management ? Ensure that the Store till operating system is maintained and is cleaned regularly and that any operating issues either hardware or software is reported to the IT Department ? Ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of daily sales information and payments ? Complete any special projects or analysis that is assigned within specified time frames and to monitor, summarise and report where required the Company’s products and prices ? Promote a positive and professional image of the company's brand at all times adhering to Company policies procedures and standards The successful candidate will have the following experience: ? A minimum of 2 years Retail Store Management Experience ? A passion for retail, including excellent customer service skills ? Thrives in a high pressured environment. ?
