We’re looking for a fresh, dynamic individual to join our company and assist in our growth primarily through the use of Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising. This will specifically be on the Amazon platform initially with a view to progressing on other platforms. No experience is necessary however a 'can do' attitude is required with preference on candidates who have some form of online marketing or advertising experience.

The right candidate will be working between our own accounts and client accounts therefore organisational and time management skills are important. You will create compelling advertising PPC promotions, maintain and expand keyword lists and investigate new advertising opportunities. Full training will be provided.

Working experience on the Amazon platform is not required to fulfil this position however should you have any experience then it would be beneficial to make this clear via your CV or cover letter. The successful candidate will be working regularly with Microsoft Excel and data analysis will be a core aspect of the role

Core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Management and optimisation of PPC accounts
  • Creating, managing and optimising keyword lists
  • Monitoring ROI and adapting campaigns to remain consistently profitable
  • Complete keyword research
  • Write and test new ad copy
  • Manage keyword bids
  • Competitor research
  • Achieve Player and ROI targets against benchmarks
  • Deliver weekly/monthly reports on progress
  • Keep up to date with search & PPC related trends and industry developments
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team and external contractors
  • Show initiative in identifying areas for improvement in the account
  • Provide regular actionable data to assist optimisation

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to identify problems and opportunities
  • Comfortable with keyword bidding both automated/ manually
  • Ability to relate and compare data from different sources
  • Highly numerate and interested in working with data to drive decisions
  • Able to come up with new and creative approaches to achieve results
  • Demonstrates logic, rationality, and objectivity in decision making
  • Ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Desirable Criteria:

  • Hands-on experience within the paid search field
  • Experience with Excel
  • Understanding of PPC techniques and best practice across major search engines
  • Experience working on Amazon (not required)
  • Experience with other search engines and ad networks would also be beneficial but not essential
