We are recruiting for a large financial organisation that is one of the most sucsessful platforms in the UK. 
The business is growing and is increasing it market share and therefore they are in need of the right team to assist this progression.  This Invesmtent Centre has around 50,000 transactions per month across 3700 collective Investment funds. 
The job holder will be responsible for thedelivery and performance of all the trading, settlement, pricing, income and corporate event services in the area.  You will be also be managing a team of circa 20 staff memebers.

• Controlling trading activities to ensure all trades received and/or generated have been placed in the market at the right valuation point reducing the risk of financial exposure for both Investors and the organisation
• Post trading reconciliation to ensure all trades have been received and placed by fund managers
• Controlling and reconciliation against contract notes information (electronic and paper) to ensure timely settlement of trades
• Daily reconciliation of bulk trading accounts ensuring that all transactions are settled timely reducing exposure to Investors and the business
• Escalation and remediation of issues identified in a timely manner
• Regular reporting (Daily, weekly and monthly) evidencing the effectiveness of the internal controls and reducing the potential financial exposure to the business
• In depth knowledge of the CASS rules and their application to the trading and settlement function.
• Leading, managing and personal development of the Investment Centre staff ensuring continuous development to maintain highest standards and addressing key man dependency to reduce key risk the business
• Leading both BAU and Strategic projects to ensure the Investment Centre can respond to strategic growth aspirations
• Maintain excellent relationships with key external partners (Callastone, Allfunds, EMX etc.)
• Working closely with all areas of the business and particularly IT to ensure collaborative approach to resolving any issues
• Leading cultural changes and instilling a continuous improvement philosophy in the IC resulting in highly motivated teams

• Likely to have relevant experience in the Financial Industry with significant experience in an Investment related role
• Demonstrated experience in Leadership and Management of large investment related teams
• Track record of delivery and implementing successfully operational projects (BAU and Transformational)
• Excellent understanding of Regulatory requirements including FCA, HMRC and any other relevant regulations in respect to investment centre
• Focus on delivery of business pan and ensuring profitability of the business area
• Track record of delivering highly efficient investor focused operation
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to build strong relationship both internally and externally
• High capacity to learn and adapt to change
• Behave both tactically and strategically
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to details
• Can do attitude
• Ability to interpret management information to develop plans and strategy
• Manage calmly and consistently
• High level of knowledge and experience of process improvement, diagnostic skills, problem solving and decision making skills e.g. Six Sigma.
• Proficient in all Microsoft systems and a general ability to learn all other systems required for the role.
• Excellent presentation skills.
