Data & Insights Analyst 25k to 30k Central London

1. Role and Reporting

Working within the analysis team, reporting to the Media Strategy Director and ultimately the Digital Director you will be responsible for delivering my clients analysis offering as well as ensuring that all campaigns are set up, tracked, and managed correctly. You will work with social, website and PPC data selling in and presenting integrated measurement to our clients.

You will work with the Media Strategy Director to help shape and grow the product offering. You will play a major role in the development of our analysis team. You will ensure all data reports are delivered to users in a timely manner and interpretation of attraction and website traffic metrics is conducted.

You must have a very good working knowledge of excel and how to use it to generate good reporting; ideally including LookUps, Pivot Tables, Macros etc. You are required to have a DoubleClick Campaign Manager certification, Google Analytics Individual qualification and a strong knowledge and experience with Google Tag Manager.

1. Tasks and Responsibilities

Your role will typically include the following:

  • Implementation of campaigns

Work with the digital strategy consultants and account teams to understand each campaign/project and its objectives. You will set up online campaigns on Ad-serving platform and offline media using web analytics. You will liaise with client’s webmaster or Havas People’s web development team to ensure web pages are tagged correctly and the media to ensure all inventory is live and tags are working correctly.

  • Management of campaigns

You will be responsible for the maintenance of all campaigns. This will include on-going testing of all placements and redirects. You will document any issues and follow up actions. If issues cannot be resolved, you must escalate accordingly.

  • Processing and delivery of data

You will extract data from the various sources including our Ad-serving system and web analytics packages. You will deliver data reports in agreed formats to key stakeholders and clients.

you will create, deliver, and analyse dashboards as well as write customised reports and present findings to clients (internal and external) on agreed deadlines.

You will develop and maintain your knowledge and expertise of available analytic and measurement methodologies and tools available on the market. You will keep up to date with industry developments and liaise with third party technology suppliers where applicable.

You will be expected to present internally to key stakeholders and externally to clients. You will be responsible for delivery, presenting to clients as well as selling in new products.

You will apply your problem-solving skills to determine the most appropriate strategy to track and measure each campaign. You will need confidence in making recommendations to colleagues and clients on driving continuous improvement through process and technology enhancements. You will be an excellent communicator - able to write reports fluently and credibly and communicate with colleagues within the agency. You will also be comfortable presenting in front of clients. Qualifications/knowledge

A graduate with a degree, ideally maths/statistics based but not essential.

Knowledge in social, website and PPC data as well as integrated measurement and attribution modelling. You must understand how websites are built and can be tracked, online advertising tracking methodologies and technologies.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• GA web analytics certification

• Experience in DFA would be preferable, but any ad serving platform (e.g. Atlas) will be applicable

• Social listening skills and/or any experience of working with social data

• Extremely proficient in using MS Office, and especially Excel

• Knowledge of Google AdWords

• Experience of using online dashboards such as Datorama

• Great attention to detail and focus on quality

• Happy to take personal responsibility for delivery with excellent organisational skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple varied activities

• Not scared to challenge and change existing processes and mindsets

• Good command of written and spoken English and the communication and rapport building skills to develop effective working relationships with internal clients and external suppliers• An understanding of internet tracking solutions, including URL and cookie based
