UK Country Manager | Manchester | £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits | Fashion Retailer

My client is a Spanish fashion retailer who are operating globally and are looking to continue building on their current success by recruiting a UK Country Manager. Predominantly based within multi-brand stores across the UK, the UK Country Manager will be responsible for managing existing stores and will be critical in the launch of the first store here in Manchester joining existing branches in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, among others.

The successful applicant will find themselves responsible for organising and coordinating the work of the new Manchester office delegation, as well as overseeing the administration, logistics and brand.

UK Country Manager Key Responsibilities:

- Management and control of daily activity of the company and supervision of employees
- Management of network sales agents
- Control of the accountancy function and bank funds, including collecting and making payments
- Management of deliveries from Spain to final UK customer
- Oversee and supervise customs clearance declaration for Customs Office, and domestic transport

UK Country Manager Skills & Experience

- Experience in importing and exporting
- Experience within fashion companies desired
- Experience in managing logistics for delivery etc.
- Knowledge of customs legislation and responsibilities
- Fluency in Spanish ideal, or desire to learn Spanish as a new language
- Experience within an accounts or finance handling role
