Associate Town Planner - London (Central London team)

£40,000 - £55,000 p/a + benefits package (Salary subject to experience)
Penguin are representing one of the leading property consultancy in the UK who are looking to appoint a proven and driven Associate Town Planner to the Central London Planning team. The successful candidate will join a team of 14 role will offer the successful applicant the ability to work on a number of exciting projects across central London.
The company are a renowned real estate provider with multiple offices in the UK. They offer a full range of planning services to clients which includes institutions, local government, government agencies, private estates, farmers and landowners. Having been recognised for their achievements multiple times with award wins you will work alongside a hugely experienced management team who will provide the support and guidance needed to help you reach your career objectives.
-Prepare planning appraisals
-Prepare planning applications, including planning statements
-Undertake research and analysis
-Contribute to Design & Access statements, sustainability statements etc
-Take responsibility for projects from the earliest stages through to completion
-Provide advice and guidance to junior team members
-Liaise and negotiate with planning officers, employees of consultee organisations, third parties
-Write complex reports, interpreting data and making clear and relevant recommendations
-Communicate and negotiate effectively with clients and colleagues
In order to apply for this role you will hold / demonstrate;
-RTPI accredited degree
-5-8 years planning experience (Must include central London project experience)
-Excellent written and communication skills
-Presentable with good presentation skills
