Care Assistant/Domestic (Fixed Term until 31 March 2018) - PKC03132
£9,353 - £10,208 (20 hours per week)
Kinnoull Community Day Opportunities, Gleneagles Road, Perth

Kinnoull Community Day Opportunities is a community based service operating from various venues and locations throughout Perth and Kinross.

As a Care Assistant you will be working with adults with learning disabilities, some of who may display challenging behaviours. You will be expected to support Community Facilitators and Social Care Officers to fulfil service users personal centred plans and enable individuals to meet their outcomes. In addition support individuals to access and participate in a variety of community based activities. Some domestic and escorting duties will be required.

Requirements

As a Care Assistant requirements are SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care/or associated qualification /experience. Driving is a job requirement to be able to carry out a function that is intrinsic to the opporational needs of the service. You will also be required to work flexibly and carry out escort duties as required

Responsibilities

Care Assistant: responsibilities are to assist individuals with personal care, cleaning and domestic tasks, ensure a safe and healthy environment in the various venues where activities are taking place. To support Community Facilitator and social Care Officers in their role and to assist service users to fulfill their personal outcomes
