Oyster Bay Systems is growing and looking for talented people to join its fantastic team and play a pivotal role in a company that is focused on growth and providing the best software and services on the market. As an IT Project Manager you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our lending software and services to a myriad of customers, including; global finance companies and household names. Working with all of the business stakeholders (internal/external) you will be a lynch pin between the company and its customers.

Overview of role

  • Project manage customer implementations of our software and services.

  • Manage the entire implementation lifecycle, from on-boarding to delivery.

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects and resources.

  • Carry out and lead project scoping and initiation workshops.

  • Define and manage timescales, tasks, milestones, resources, dependencies, quality, risks, costs and stakeholders.

  • Produce and maintain project plans and progress reports.

  • Stakeholder and customer management throughout project lifecycle. Including; client relationship management, change management, risk & issue management, dispute resolution and progress reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to add value to customers.

  • Work with sales and commercial team on proposals and sales on-boarding.

  • Develop strong product, customer and domain knowledge.

  • Mentor colleagues and share project management best practices.

About you

Minimum 3 years’ (senior) or 1 years (junior) project management experience Able to manage complex and large IT projects Experience of requirements gathering and writing specifications Strong organisational, commercial and communication skills Strong risk management skills Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required

Advantageous

Bachelor’s degree Experience working in AGILE environment APM accredited qualification preferably PRINCE 2 Experience working in IT, Financial services sector, particularly lending markets: Consumer, Motor, broker or asset finance
