Parc Ellis are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a market-leading company at an exciting time of expansion. This role will be first be internal based during training with the goal of this role to become an External Business Development Manager after successful completion covering the London area.

The Business Development Manager will spend 2 days per week in the field and 3 days in the office

Achieve Monthly Sales Targets consistently

Develop existing customer relationships

Acquire new customers and build relationships to ensure business growth

Manage pipeline and chase all quotes

Maintain Sage Communications (The Company CRM System)

Make proactive sales calls daily to generate new business enquiries

Profile all customers both new and existing to understand potential

Cross sell and optimise order value

Follow up marketing promotions pro actively and generate new business from these initiatives

Once training is complete the Business Development Manager will spend a 2 days per week visiting customers, building relationships both new and existing and increasing sales revenue.

The successful candidate will need to have:

previous Business Development and Account Manager experience.

·The ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally at a senior and working level.

·Experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

·Personal experience of accountability for sales targets.

·Results focussed.

·Ability to understand and utilise financial and management information, with the ability to make informed decisions.

·Experience of the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactical plans.

·Track record of setting and achieving challenging targets for the sales function.

·Experience of developing and implementing effective sales plans.

·Full clean driving licence.

·The ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally at a senior and working level.

Previous Sales experience from a Electronics background would be highly beneficial but not essential.
