Your new role:

As a Weighbridge Operative you will provide excellent customer service to our clients; ensuring vehicles within the Weighbridge area are accurately weighed in and out of our premises.

Located at our Lea Riverside facility in Bow, you will be required to work a night shift pattern; 12 hour days - 4 days on and 4 days off. You will also be required to work weekends, bank holidays and any other public holidays which fall on the days of your shift.

A day in this role will include:

  • Weighing in and out; customers, third party tippers, and company vehicles, ensuring the correct paperwork is issued
  • Accurately inputting data onto ISYS
  • Sorting and filing Weighbridge tickets ensuring copies are forwarded to the relevant departments
  • Signing visitors in and out, providing PPE for those entering the Weighbridge area
  • Keeping an up to date record of registered waste carriers, ensuring copies are forwarded to the relevant departments
  • Supporting the Weighbridge Supervisor with the pricing of export loads and placing orders
  • Ensuring the security barriers, alarm system and CCTV are managed and monitored at all times
  • Assisting the Quality Controllers (QC) in the consignment of materials arriving and/or leaving site
  • Ensuring all waste complies with the current environmental legislation(s) and Landfill Waste Acceptance criteria
  • Carrying out general office duties
  • Providing additional cover as and when required
