Payroll Coordinator

Working within an accountancy practice, our client is seeking a payroller to join their busy team. Based at the Andover and/or Southampton office, the position will involve end to end processing of the clients' payrolls to include calculations and reporting. You will be the point of contact for clients and will work closely with them to provide an outstanding service.

The successful applicant for this role will gain exposure to the following key tasks and duties:

Assisting with the preparation of selected client payrolls
Calculating and administering holiday pay entitlements
Applying PAYE regulations and calculating SMP, SSP and SPP
Administering pension deductions
Calculating manual payments and repayments
Assisting in the production of payslips and P45s
Assisting with any ad-hoc queries

Key experience and skills:-

- You must have previous payroll processing experience of ideally a minimum of 1-2 years
- Experience of payroll co-ordination within an accountancy firm or a payroll bureau would be a distinct advantage
- All applicants must have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work effectively within a team

Salary - c25-28k
Based Andover and/or Southampton
This is a full time position, however, flexible working hours are possible, as is potentially part-time hours
