Our client, a large international children's charity, are seeking an experienced Private Site Fundraising Manager to join their operation and assume overall accountability for the Private Site Channel.
The Manager will take responsibility for the management of their private sites fundraising team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of the current high performing team.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, training and management of a team of Campaign Managers. You will lead from the front and manage the team to excel in their own performance; creating a high performing team environment where staff are inspired to give the best experience, exceed expected KPI's and grow in line with their ethos and identity.
In consultation with the Head of Supporter Growth, you will develop and implement the Private Sites Channel acquisition strategy, which will include overall staffing requirements and location plans. You will take ownership of the Profit & Loss of this channel, growing, sustaining and achieving child sponsorship acquisition targets in line with agreed annual plans.
For this post, you will have experience in leading and managing Private Site management within various environments. You will also have staff management experience; including coaching, training, retaining staff by developing and motivating people to achieve set objectives. You’ll also have the ability to give clear instructions, make difficult decisions, as well as multi-task and solve problems.
Demonstrable knowledge of face to face fundraising and/ or sales and an understanding of the Fundraising Regulator Codes of Practices is also essential, as are strong organisational, budget management and communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
