A small and friendly company based in Peterborugh that provide Telecoms and IT support to small and medium businesses across Cambridge are looking to appoint a technical minded IT Technical support engineer to visit their clients onsite to diagnose and solve IT issues.

The company prides themselves on their quality and super efficient IT support services, every call is answered by an experienced support team member straightaway.

The IT Support engineers are based in Peterborough and cover the whole of Cambridgeshire and beyond. In the event of an IT emergency, you will go out to a client site and be responsible for quick response times.

Whilst based in the office and offsite, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, responding to incident from email, web chat and phone. You will also speak to customers directly to identify problems remotely to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for clients

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Set up and troubleshoot email and broadband services

Respond to incidents raise and prioritise these

Requirements for this role:

- Experience of call prioritisation and escalation of IT issues

- Dealing with SLA's

- Knowledge and experience of Windows: XP, Vista, 7,8, 2003 & 2008 server

- Microsoft Office 2003, 2007,2010 and MS Exchange

- Internet Security

- Full driving license required
