As a Financial Accountant for our Central Group Services team and you will be allocated a number of departments and will be responsible for the end to end financial support provided to the department heads including production of the annual budget and forecasting process, financial accounting tasks, month end close and financial performance analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone part qualified (ACCA and CIM), as the Group will assist with your training to become a fully qualified Accountant.


  • Preparation of departmental budgets and forecasts

  • Processing of financial tasks throughout the month (P.O.s, invoices, etc.)

  • Respond to ad-hoc queries

  • Month end close (review of results, posting of accruals and adjustments)

  • Financial analysis of variance against budget/forecast, commentary, BP support to department head

  • Assist with the collation and preparation of the monthly CCS management accounts.

  • Prepare financial analysis on an ad-hoc basis for both finance and non-finance heads of business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree level educated with 2:1 or above

  • Part completion of ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification

  • Proven experience within a Finance department
