A Magnificent hotel located between Colchester and Harwich, Essex is looking for a confident pastry chef to work alongside the Head Pastry Chef. The hotel is expanding with new development plans and keeping up continual food trends this is an ever culinary challenging role. This establishment has 2 kitchens and caters for many prestigious weddings, functions & conferences and the fine dining restaurant.

The Restaurant:

· Modern European Cuisine and everything is prepared fresh on the premises

· Talented award winning brigade of 8 chefs

The Role:

· This venue is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie

· As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be working under a Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of your section

· You will be working 5 days a week, mixture of straight and spilt shifts available.

· You must have fine dining experience or worked for a minimum of a two rosette establishment to be suitable for this role

· You will have the freedom to create your own menu’s and experiment on your own ideas and be creative with new menu’s.

· You must have had at least 2 years’ experience at this level and be willing to show this in a working trial.

· You will be part of a team of 10 chefs, 3 in the pastry section working to exceptionally high standards.
