Senior Construction Engineer-Electrical Utility Projects-Leicester

Site/Field Based position-you should be located in the Leicester area

Salary: £48,000 - £56,000 + Vehicle + Bonus & 5% Pension, 25 days holiday, life assurance x 4, flexible benefits

Are you an Electrical Engineer who has run Utility Construction Projects and managed a team of Construction Engineers, and are you looking to join a company with a clear plan to progress your career over the coming years?

On offer is the opportunity to join a company at the forefront of providing HV & LV power supplies across the country. Due to their recent and continued expansion they are looking for an experienced engineer work on a range of construction and utilities projects.

The role is to manage all aspects of construction management in the construction, installation & commissioning of Electrical Connections up to 33Kv

This will include:

1.Leadership of a number of Construction Engineers for the effective delivery of a number of projects.

2.To deliver Contestable Connections for POC Ltd on time and within budget

3.Carry out risk assessments

4.Develop Construction Method Statements and prepare site instruction.

The person:

1.Must have knowledge and experience of electrical distribution and have an engineering background.
2.Must hold a NRSWA supervisory card, CSCS card and SMSTS certificate.
3.Must have vast experience of operating in the customer connections market place and or have worked for DNO, ICP or major electrical contracting organisation for a significant period of time.
4.Ideally candidates should have proven leadership skills.

The role will be home/field based covering a Leicester shire/midlands patch so you will ideally be located in the area.
