Business Development - Senior Consultant, Inside Sales

Their Technology practice helps clients manage the risk and cost of e-discovery. From forensic data collection to fully managed document review services they collaborate with clients to deliver strategic solutions tailored to their unique legal requirements. With keen focus on the productivity and defensibly of document review, clients rely on their comprehensive portfolio of software and services expertise and address matters ranging from internal investigations to large-scale litigation with global e-discovery requirements.

The Role:

This is a Senior Consultant/ Inside Sales (IS) position within the Business Development (BD) team.

This position is an opportunity and meeting generation role, working alongside the business team and senior management. Working from their internal database and CRM system, as well as publicly available information, industry associations and business intelligence services, this role will call targeted customer contacts to introduce our solutions, qualify interest and decision criteria, and schedule meetings for the BD team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up qualified sales meetings for the BD team;
  • Prospect new and existing clients;
  • Researching corporate accounts;
  • Maintain call records and activity notes in CRM system;
  • Work alongside the BD team and marketing teams in assisting with client events and the associated follow up.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) desirable

Skills and Competencies:

  • Positive, engaging, resilient and creative approach to customer prospecting
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to understand key value proposition for the firm's technology solutions
  • Ability to handle objections
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support the team's goals above individual goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while handling multiple tasks through completion


  • Proven track record within a targeted sales environment
  • Previous work experience within a law firm or corporate legal department preferred

Job Offer

A basic Salary of £35,000 plus bonus (OTE approximately £45,000), plus excellent benefits.
