Interim Financial Reporting Manager
Cooper Lomaz have an immediate requirement for an Interim Financial Reporting Manager to join our established and expanding Huntingdon based client. The role will initially be viewed as a 6 month contract with a possible extension depending on the needs of the business. The role will form part of the UK Accounting function and will take ownership for coordinating the month end reporting process and consolidating accounts from multiple UK and European subsidiaries. This highly technical role will see the successful candidate provide guidance to other parts of the finance function whilst also identifying all intercompany transactions for the UK businesses.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Coordinate the month end close and produce monthly consolidations
- Report on variances within consolidations and challenge understanding of these
- Cashflow reporting
- Intercompany accounting and reconciling all transactions to maintain accounts integrity
The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) or the candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent technical accounting background with relevant experience. A working knowledge of US GAAP is highly desirable but not essential and the ability to identify opportunities for improving reporting processes will also be key. Candidates will ideally be immediately available to interview and commence work.
