Job Title: Field Quality Engineer

Location: Southampton

Job Type: Permanent

Blueprint Recruitment is currently seeking a Field Quality Engineer to join their team of highly motivated individuals on a permanent basis working from home & Hampshire. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical leadership of advanced quality processes including statistically based variation reduction, control planning, mistake proofing and manufacturing process control. You will also be responsible for evaluating procedures ensuring they are being completed to regulatory and contractual requirements, and evaluating supplier quality systems. You will also prepare progress reports, program reviews, cost effectiveness reports for suppliers and train relevant staff in six sigma techniques, manufacturing process control and other processes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree qualified - Engineering, Computer Science, or Quality Assurance related Degree
  • Significant Quality Engineering experience
  • Experience using management software
    • ECATs, PDM, One Source, SAP
  • Good working knowledge of quality systems, lean manufacturing, Manufacturing process control, Six Sigma and RCCA
  • Good organisational skills, able to prioritise workload effectively and work to tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Quality Engineering and be confident performing a range of inspections and assessments.

Our client is offering an excellent salary and package, including a fully expensed car, fuel card, Contributory Pension and generous holiday allowance. This position is BASED FROM HOME. However regular travel to meet clients and suppliers within the Hampshire region is essential, as is a Full Clean Drivers Licence.
