The main purpose of this role is to support the Sales Team in making 'qualified' NEW Business Appointments to expand our existing customer base.

My client based in Ipswich are a stable, well established business that wins and retains business through the quality of our customer service, and the integrity of our customer data.

Following the phenomenal success of their existing sales team, they are recruiting more highly ambitious business-to-business telephone sales professionals.

You will join a highly successful and expanding sales team and as a sales professional, we expect you to bring you own ideas to further grow our business.

Ideally, you will have worked in telesales previously, however if you haven't but have drive, tenacity and previous customer facing or telephone expertise, we would love to hear from you. Your friendly, professional manner, drive, confidence and resilience will ensure success in this target focused environment.

Our professional sales team care about the service they sell and make a point of getting customer information accurate first time. The environment you will work in is positive, professional and supportive.

You will be making outgoing business to business telephone calls, explaining the features of our product/services to the customer and 'sell' its benefits.
If there is a genuine need and/or requirement, you will arrange for an appointment for a member of our sales team to meet the client.
As part of a team, you will be expected to go 'business to business' foot canvassing and collect compliment slips, to generate 'new' sales leads/appointments.
From the information you obtain by telephone and from foot canvassing, you will be responsible for updating the ACT Database and maintain good housekeeping at all times.
We will provide you 'on the job training' and you will also receive additional training from the manufacturers.

09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday (½ hour lunch) plus excellent basic salary plus commission.
