Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Services, you will be managing a team of 8 payroll coordinators and assistants. You will be responsible for both the strategic development and the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring the timely processing, controls and efficiencies of the weekly, monthly and executive payrolls. Furthermore, you will ensure that (in accordance with contractual and statutory requirements) all deadlines are met.
You will have excellent payroll knowledge, 5 yrs+ experience in a similar Payroll Management role within a large payroll department and a real hands-on approach when required. We require strong management and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. As a seasoned Manager, you will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and delivery as well as the ability to drive process efficiencies throughout the department. You will be well versed in identifying issues or trends that are causing inefficiencies and addressing the root cause with imaginative and well thought solutions, ensuring stakeholder buy-in along the way. You will have the personality and experience to build a strong network of internal and external stakeholders.
