Stores & Logistics Coordinator

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Hire & Deliveries

  • Delivery of hire equipment to clients premises in the south of England
  • Recording of deliveries, collections and ensuring condition & damage recorded including photos
  • Refurbishment and cleaning of hire equipment to specified standards
  • Liaising with customers regarding equipment operation
  • Supporting deliveries of critical spares to contractors
  • Ensuring assurance checks are completed and maintained
  • Carrying out deliveries of critical spares, refrigeration and coolers.
  • Out of hours and working on call will be required.

Stores & Stock:

  • Monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods.
  • Stock control utilising the stock management system
  • Receiving, dispatching, inspecting and issuing materials
  • Ensuring Stores security is maintained
  • Ensuring all consignment agreements are in place and stock is managed & accounted for in-line with guidelines
  • Completing regular checks of the different storage facilities by using visual checks and testing storage conditions such as environment, weight, size, type of goods in order to ensure that the material is stored correctly and if necessary to able to take corrective action at an early stage
  • Daily and weekly checks of all technical devices and systems used for handling materials are carried out in order to ensure a high safety standard
  • Assisting technical staff in the identification of materials
  • Co-ordinating plant defects from site teams arranging prompt repairs exchanges with supply chain
  • Any other Ad Hoc task required to support the operation on a national basis

Essential criteria

  • Previous experience working within Property or Facilities Management environment

  • Previous expereince within Hire or Stores.

  • Full Driving license including Cat B +E
