Job Title: PIP Disability Analyst

Role Description: Medical Assessment and Reporting Opportunity for Occupational Therapists

Base Location: Deptford

Starting Salary: £41,000 + benefits + overtime opportunities and a £2,500 retention bonus

Hours: Full-time or part-time (initial 15-week training is required on a full-time basis)

Our client company is a leading provider of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) health assessment and reporting on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

To support their services to the central government, we are offering exciting new opportunities for Paramedics to undertake the role of PIP Disability Analyst in Deptford, London Borough of Lewisham (SE London Postcode).

Role Overview:

  • Medical assessments and detailed report writing for a broad range of clinical scenarios
  • Medical case file reviews including quality checking and auditing
  • Comprehensive full-time induction programme and hands-on training for initial 15 weeks - full salary provided whilst gaining valuable professional development
  • Your medical assessments will be conducted face to face through clinic based appointments

  • Live within or commutable distance to the SE London postcode areas
  • Full registration with the HCPC as an Paramedic and continuous professional development maintained
  • Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills and basic IT abilities (MS Word)
  • Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience as a Paramedic within a range of clinical settings
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously
  • Skills in report writing and of working to specified goals would be beneficial

The role of PIP Disability Analyst requires full time commitment (37.5 hours per week) for the initial 3-5 months. Following this, full-time or part-time hours are available from a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.
