An interesting role has become available at a rapidly growing company for a 1st/2nd line technical support engineer.

You will be working on the latest technology in an innovative and rapidly expanding business. You will get expert on the job training from a team of highly competent and experienced technical engineers.

The company has seen significant growth year on year and are looking for a 1st line / 2nd line technical support engineer to work on a range of infrastructure/networking technologies.

The role is varied and will stretch from platform management, infrastructure/network management, projects and day to day support.

The ideal candidate will have experience of (not all essential and the focus being on server/virtualisation over networking and security):

  • Windows Operating Systems (Both PC and Server)
  • MS Server
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policies
  • SQL / Sharepoint
  • VMWare / Hyper-V
  • Firewalls
  • Cisco Routing & Switching
  • General troubleshooting

A 'can do' attitude is a must and the successful 1st line engineer / 2nd line technical support engineer will have the opportunity to fast track their career both in terms of knowledge and responsibilities. This rapidly expanding business will present opportunities for both more senior technical and/or leadership opportunities in the future.
