Data Planner - Central London

As a Data Planner you will join the Planning & Analytics team, using data expertise to drive the agency proposition and strategy. You will be involved in managing multiple campaign planning projects and to be seen as the client's first port of call for all data planning enquiries. You will work across a number of clients and will cover different channels, including digital (website and social) and CRM. The successful candidate will sit within an established team of data planners and analysts.

Data planner Responsibilities:

  • Create data strategies to drive communications across multiple channels
  • Deliver data insight for different clients, utilising multiple sources, such as the customer database, web analytics, social analytics, 3rd party data suppliers and market research
  • Work closely with Analysts, Client Services, Planners and Data Management to deliver data-led marketing proposals across CRM, website and social
  • Day-to-day client liaison and management of delivery commitments
  • Plan and deliver measurement proposals to evaluate and refine activity, including test and learn, performance reporting and deeper analysis
  • Formulate data collection, enhancement and campaign targeting strategies
  • Work with strategic planners to ensure that data strategies are at the heart of overall plans

  • Clear, concise and engaging communications skills - in writing, presenting and meetings
  • Attention to detail combined with a careful approach to process
  • An organised and structured approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience of multiple channels - together with a proactive approach to learning about new channels and technology

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a Data Planning and Analytics environment
  • Experience of diverse data sources across multiple channels to produce insight
  • Ability to write and present well-considered proposals
  • Ability to translate all technical and data analysis into layman's terms for clients
  • Strong ability in MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of website, social and customer analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics / Facebook insights / Faststats) is desirable though not essential
