Acquisitions Consultant
£40,000 - £50,000 plus benefits

Our client is a hugely successful, well-established and growing financial services provider and this role will be at the heart of its acquisition strategy as it seeks to continue its growth. Commutable from the likes of Cheltenham, Gloucester and Swindon, the purpose of this job is to work on the end-to-end management, review, approval and implementation of acquisitions and bespoke financing projects. Candidates from an audit and/or transactional services background are sought after, ideally with experience of the sector.

Responsibilities will include:

- Researching acquisition targets, distilling information in to insightful reports for review
- Monitoring of current and historical acquisitions and loan finance deals
- Analysing and understanding competitors and market trends 
- Undertaking financial due diligence and composing succinct executive summaries
- Building robust and accurate financial models to enable viability appraisal
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time
- Ad-hoc acquisition project work as required

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with previous audit, transaction services or corporate finance experience. Knowledge of financial services would also be preferable. You will back this up with strong Excel knowledge, a good command of written English for report-writing purposes and an ability to work independently and to assimilate large amounts of data.
