Technology/Music to Major Brands

B-70-80k plus bonus

This is an incredible opportunity for someone with the right experience selling music or technology into major brands.

Our client is a leading edge company utilizing technology to revolutionize the way music is produced for commercial clients.

The company is currently looking for an exceptional Senior Business Development Manager, with experience of selling technology or music to major brands with the ability to lead a team. You will have dealt with brands such as Coca Cola, Kellogg’s, Amazon, Google, L’Oreal, etc. You may have worked for companies like Sony or EMI or other music production companies and sold into major brands. The position provides a tremendous amount of strategic and new client opportunity. You should be full of entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter, with the ability to take responsibility and deliver results.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the business development team, including setting challenging goals and devising the strategy to meet those goals.

Providing thought leadership, strategic insight and clear communication to team members on strategy.

Sourcing, qualifying and engaging new sales opportunities.

Understanding customer needs and working effectively with development teams to address them.

The ideal candidate will have:

8 years experience selling technology to music or brands.

Experience of building and leading a sales team, including the ability to provide thought leadership and strategic insight.

An exceptional network of business contacts and the ability to leverage those contacts to facilitate business opportunities.

Technical proficiency in computer software, and the ability to clearly communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience.

Great people skills, including the ability to build trust with new clients over the phone, over email and face to face.

Exceptional writing, speaking and listening skills.

Passion for sales, data, analytics, numbers and measurement, both in terms of the product and the role.
